Mycar.kz, the leading automotive marketplace in Kazakhstan, is planning to expand Myoffer, its c-to-b used-car auction service.

The auctions are held daily online in the Mycar.kz app and monthly in person at Mycar dealerships in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city and business capital. By November, Mycar.kz plans to expand offline auctions to the capital city, Astana, and later to the rest of the country. This expansion will make it easier for sellers to bring their cars to an auction and choose a new one at the same time, according to the company. The commission for a successful sale through the auction is KZT50,000 ($93).

In the Mycar.kz app, about 65 new auction listings appear every day, and more than 1,300 professional buyers from across the country compete for each car, the company said. All vehicles are inspected, and the bidding process is fully transparent, it added. On average, it takes about 40 minutes after a car is listed to receive a “good offer,” according to Mycar.kz. In most cases, the sale is finalized on the same day the car is listed.

“We continue to improve Myoffer so that each stage of interaction with the auction is convenient, fast and transparent,” the company said. “Our goal is to provide sellers with a fair price and buyers with access to verified cars, creating a service that adapts to the real needs of customers.”

Meanwhile, Mycar.kz has opened a franchise in Petropavlovsk in the north of the country, making it the eighth city to have a Mycar dealership. These outlets offer car sales and trade-ins, both offline and online.
