Finnish publishing house SanomaWSOY has agreed to buy real estate agent Igglo’s Internet portal. The company will combine Igglo’s real estate Internet services with its Oikotie.fi portal.
Igglo was founded in 2006 and focused strongly on Web 2.0 technologies. Igglo was criticized for having taken pictures of every building in Helsinki. The original plan was to expand the Igglo concept to other countries.
