Dubai-based auto marketplace Carabia is launching sales of certified used cars.

Each certified vehicle is inspected by an independent third-party. The certification process takes into account multiple factors, including the car’s make, model, mileage, year, condition, trim level and service history.

Certified vehicles are given greater visibility on the site, reaching more potential customers compared to non-certified listings.

Launched in late 2024, the startup only lists vehicles that have less than 70,000 kilometers on the clock and are less than five years old. Additionally, it does not list any vehicles that have been involved in accidents.

Carabia facilitates two types of sales: an instant “buy now” option and auctions.

It is free for users, with no fees for listing or selling a car on either the website or the app. Designed exclusively for private buyers and sellers, Carabia does not support dealer listings.
