Spain-based Momoven, which facilitates c-to-c rentals of medium- and large-displacement motorcycles, has raised $850,000 ($991,000) in funding,  La Vanguardia reports.

Participants included Dokify founder Juan Medina, Malco Rent a Car, investment club Innoventures Capital, and Alfredo Cebrián, founder of CuatroOchenta, according to the company. 60% of the participants were existing shareholders, it noted.

Momoven said it expected to double its revenue in the next 12 months compared to 2024 and was planning to increase its network of mobility centers (it currently has three) and expand into other European markets, as well as the U.S., Latin America and Australia.

Earlier this year, local media reported that Momoven had revenue of around €500,000 in 2024. The company said its revenue had doubled in the past 12 months.

Founded in 2017 by Pablo Carceller and David Berbel — its CMO and CEO, respectively — and headquartered in Castellón de la Plana in the region of Valencia, Momoven also operates b-to-c rentals, with its own fleet of motorcycles available to users in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. It says it has nearly 100,000 registered users, more than 3,500 active motorcycles and surpassed 10,000 rentals.

Earlier this year, Spanish motorcycle racer Álex Márquez invested an undisclosed sum in Momoven.
