ContactCars.com has joined forces with Toyota Egypt to roll out the country’s first digital auction service, Automark Auction, for used cars.
With this new service, a network of verified dealers can participate in monthly used-car auctions by Toyota Egypt, according to a news release.
Accessible through Contactcars.com’s app, the auction features “a variety of pre-owned Toyota and non-Toyota models” for registered dealers to bid on.
In addition to vehicle auctioning, Automark also enables customers to trade in or sell their existing vehicles with all transactions conducted 100% digitally.
In Nov. 2022, Cairo-based auto marketplace Contactcars.com reached a ‘strategic partnership’ with Toyota Egypt Group for a used-car pricing tool.
The latest collaboration will help Toyota to extend its outreach and improve sales through digital channels, said Contactcars.com’s CEO Waleed Kamel.
Last month used-car digital dealer Sylndr of Egypt raised $15.7 million U.S. in Series A for digitizing mobility landscape.
