The largest Russia-based classified Avito has entered into a collaboration agreement with AvtoVAZ, the largest manufacturer of passenger cars in Russia, and probably Eastern Europe. At the ongoing St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), the two parties agreed to:
- Simplify the process of selecting and purchasing new and used cars, as well as increasing the transparency of transactions in the industry
- Integrate AvtoVAZ data on the maintenance of Lada cars into Avito’s Autoteka history verification service
- Merge the Select car sales service from Avito Auto with certified used Lada cars – Restart service from AvtoVAZ
- Jointly work to increase Lada brand awareness and expand the presence of the car manufacturer’s dealer network on Avito Auto
“Cooperation with such a key player in the domestic auto market as AvtoVAZ is an opportunity to strengthen Avito’s position as a reliable partner for automakers and dealers,” said senior managing director at Avito Kirill Votyakov:
In 2025, the share of domestic auto brands was 25.8% among all used offers on Avito Auto, with Lada accounting for 82.2% of the total offer, according to Votyakov. “Therefore, we see great potential in the joint development of digital products, as well as in the creation of new solutions that will make the car market safer and more understandable. Thanks to cooperation, we will be able to offer users even more accurate information about the condition of cars, increase the level of trust in the market, and reduce risks when making transactions. This will be an important contribution to the development of an honest and open auto industry in Russia,” Votyakov said.
