India-based Ziniosa — a recommerce marketplace for used luxury fashion — has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Inflection Point Ventures.

The funding will be deployed in building a robust core team, strengthening technology, increasing brand visibility, and, most importantly, launching Ziniosa’s maiden physical store, Entrepreneur reports.

Founded in 2020 by Ashri Jaiswal and Varun Ramani, Ziniosa currently offers more than 3,000 luxury fashion items from in excess of 60 brands. It says it operates a zero-inventory acquisition model and that its rigorous authentication processes ensure high margins.

Ziniosa commented: “We’re also growing our men’s category and significantly expanding our product catalogue to meet rising demand.”

Mitesh Shah, co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures, said: “The thrifting movement is gaining momentum in India. It makes luxury fashion more accessible and encourages mindful consumption.”

Last May, Ziniosa collaborated with leading fashion e-commerce company Tata Cliq Luxury on the latter’s used-luxury goods offering.

According to a study conducted by Imarc Group, India’s used luxury goods market was worth $683 million U.S. in 2024 and is expected to more than double to $1.6 billion by 2033 — a CAGR of 9.9%.

However, the market continues to be plagued by challenges related to authentication, as well as the social stigma attached to used goods by many affluent local consumers.
