South Korea-based luxury marketplace Trenbe has launched a quick consignment service enabling sellers to list and sell used premium goods in more than 30 countries, ApparelNews reports.

The service is designed to meet rising demand from both individual and professional sellers looking to quickly liquidate their luxury items amid strong growth in the secondhand luxury market.

While standard consignment sales can take around four weeks, Trenbe says the quick consignment model shortens the process significantly by maximizing product exposure through its global sales infrastructure, which spans countries including the U.S., Australia, and the UAE. The service also incorporates special promotions to boost sell-through rate.

To use the service, customers simply register their items via the Trenbe app or website, where they can view AI-powered real-time market pricing and submit items for approval. Trenbe then manages the entire process — from product inspection to listing and sales management.

Once approved, products are listed across domestic and international channels, including online campaigns and offline pop-up events in department stores — typically within 24 hours of receipt. Items sold through the quick consignment service receive five times more views in key luxury markets and sell 3.2 times faster than through traditional consignment, the company claims.

The launch aligns with a broader trend among marketplaces to enable cross-border resale, often through partnerships. Bunjang, for instance, teamed up with Delivered Korea and Mercari last year to expand its global reach.

Founded in 2017, Trenbe operates as a mail-order intermediary, where products are listed by individual sellers. However, the company assumes responsibility for items by conducting product inspections and offering authenticity guarantees.

Other major businesses in South Korea’s luxury resale market include Kream and Joongna.
